Easy Riders

Elle US November 2010
Easy Riders

To get the look of this bohemian, luxe, hippy, editorial team silk blouses, with skinny, suede hipsters. Look for pants with fringing and stitching detail. Deluxe furs included; mongolian lamb, lynx, Russian sable, alpaca or faux if you prefer, worn belted with Navajo belt buckles.

Floral maxis look soft and flirty, worn with floppy, suede sun hats. Studs adorned denim shirts and vests to toughen up the aesthetic.

Footwear included sandy and rustic toned Minnetonka moccasins, check out http://www.miijo.com/ for ankle and under the knee styles.

Lace and satin camis peeking out from fur coats look sexy and seductive. Burgundy, velvet, hipster flares and brocade jackets added a touch of opulence to the shoot. Animal skin prints such as snake and leopard work well when pared back with neutral coloured stoles and suede leather.

Accessorise with tooled, leather, saddle bags and round, framed, sunglasses by Oliver Peoples. Leather cuffs and American Indian jewellery work well with the theme of this shoot. Look for chunky, semi precious stone, cocktail rings, in rich jewel tones and sterling silver knuckle duster rings.

Labels to complete the look include; Anna Sui, Roberto Cavalli, Minnetonka, D & G, Fendi, Burberry Prorsum, Ralph Lauren, Four Winds Gallery, South West Trader, Oliver Peoples, Balmain, Little Joe, Shakuhachi, Vintage Clothing stores and Ebay has some amazing finds with turquoise Navajo jewellery.
