Low Luv Collection x Erin Wasson

Low Luv x Erin Wasson

Erin Wasson is one half of the brainchild behind the jewellery collection, Low Luv. She has collaborated with famed jewellery designer, Pascal Mouawad.

Erin Wasson is known for her effortless style and laid back chic. She is a Vogue Espana and i-D fave. Recent campaigns she has starred in include Zadig & Voltaire, Joie, Pinko, Replay, Boss Orange, True Religion and Maybelline, just to name a few.

Erin got her styling break when she became good friends with the designer Alexander Wang, they lived in the same apartment block in New York. Wang really admired Erin's style. Wang's design formula is based on the "Model off duty" and Erin embodies this idea perfectly so it only seemed fitting that Erin would make a great stylist and muse for Wang's collections. This dynamic duo are a powerhouse. Muse and designer working hand in hand.

In the latest Low Luv collection key pieces include; slave bracelets, double finger rings, crystal chain necklaces, hammered bronze bracelets, chest plate harnesses, stacking bangles, crystal crosses, eagle cuffs and triple crystal knuckle duster rings.I purchased the Long Wood Ring, Moonstone Ring and the Silver Gypsy Ring. The collection had tribal and Aztec influences.Other details featured in the range included evil eyes, etched hieroglyphics, tough, gladiator like studs and plenty of tarnished bronze which lent a antique / vintage feel. The collection is edgy and fashion forward, the epitome of Erin Wasson. Erin stars in the campaign and she looked like a modern day Cleopatra.

Online stockists of low Luv include; http://www.shopbop.com/ and http://www.miijo.com/, both of which offer super fast shipping worldwide. Another reason for the mass appeal of this range is the price point, with pieces starting at an accessible $30USD and ranging through to $275USD. Luxe pieces for less.
