Twin brothers Dean and Dan Caten of Dsquared2 transmogrified models into bona fide Yukon Indians for their latest Fall 2015 collection. The pair drew inspiration from their Canadian roots and were inspired by the mountainous terrain of Canada's wild west.

Caroline Trentini opened the collection in a shrunken, Herringbone blazer which was layered to the perennial favourite, denim jacket. A rustic corduroy waistcoat in the shade of toffee and white skinny leg jeans complete with with oversized pannier pockets concluded the look. A low slung, terracotta belt offset the pants. Mocha, studded stilettos featured fur inserts lending a cultural edge.

High octane energy came in the form of a bohemian suede coat with Mongolian lamb fur trimmings in shades of eggplant, lady bug red and ebony. Sable fur graced the lower half of the coat injecting textural delight. Distressed suede trousers looked as though they had been on a Bear Grylls adventure. Chunky cable knit socks, feathered lariat and colossal sized bejewelled earrings dangled precariously from Vanessa Moody's lobes. A matching statement neck piece added copious amounts of bling to the mix. High neck, full length tribal tattooed body stockings were a hallmark feature worn layered over the majority of runway looks. 

Sunkissed warrior, Kate Grigorieva modelled a black polished Sergeant Peppers inspired coat complete with gold bullion braiding. The structured coat was twinned to a modern day corset dress in herringbone. The feminine mini dress featured sassy gathering with leather drawstring ties. A fur stole in vanilla wheaten was suspended from Grigorieva's hip.

A clash of Spanish matador meets artisan village people was evident on a vermilion silk dinner jacket teamed to a cropped denim jacket, crisp white pussy bow blouse and ebony pantaloon. Gold bullet buttons cascaded down the outer calf for a boost of finesse. Accessories included a luxurious fur stole, sapphire teardrop bib necklace and a tribal infused tote featuring leather tassels, feathers, studs and intricate beadwork.

For the ultimate, statement making cover up, look no further than the fur Ikat print overcoat. A gargantuan fur hood framed Mariana Santana's face injecting cultural globetrotter qualities. Worn belted, the coat fell below the knee and starred in a colour palette comprising of pure white, scarlet, desert sand and chocolate. Not for the timid. Black, slimline 7/8 trousers with bullion braiding were paired to crystal encrusted stilettos. Not exactly ideal footwear for trekking mountains but it added a kitsch glam element to the look.

A colourful Mexican serape skirt was paired to a shearling aviator jacket and basic scoop neck tank accompanied by the tattooed body stocking. Other garments that lit up the runway included fringed ponchos, plaid shirts, cape coats and voluminous billowy maxis reminiscent of Tom Ford's days at the helm of YSL.

Aurelio Costarella S/S 14/15

Aurelio Costarella's 'SOLAIRE' collection embodied sensuality, pulchritude and impeccable glamour. Costarella drew inspiration from American photographer Man Ray of the Surrealist and Dada movements, Polish Art Deco artist Tamara de Lempicka and model / photographer Lee Miller. Film noir silhouettes reigned supreme brimming of silver screen splendour.

Look 1 comprised of an opalescent, embellished body suit featuring shades of champagne and ice silver teamed to minimalistic wrist cuffs. Swarovski crystals in the shape of a crescent moon graced the model's face adding a iridescent sheen.

A dip dyed, cutaway cocktail mini dress featured in shades of heavenly white, muted lavender, violet and dramatic ebony. Celestial feathers highlighted the dress' ethereal qualities. Layered black cuffs added a dose of masculinity to the arabesque.

A Jean Paul Gaultier inspired, metallic gunmetal, sculptural mini dress with tulip silhouette, triangle multi peplum and boned torso detail oozed of modern sci-fi connotations. Attitude and panache required. A sensual leather, plunge, sweetheart neckline, body con halter dress was a vampy addition with textural panels adding an edge. Leather continued to feature on a bustier evening dress complete with diaphanous, chiffon strip maxi skirt and theatrical sheer top with beaded cap sleeve detail.

Flamboyant fuchsia starred on a willowy, fish tail, floor grazing gown with metallic studs caressing the torso. A peekaboo cut-out under the bust added flirtatiousness. A saturated persimmon, corset dress featured embellished bust and waist detail with a sheer skirt billowing with every stride Alice Burdeu made. A scintillating, strapless, floor length evening dress comprised of silver leaf and ebony sheer overlay. A sumptuous number sure to make an appearance on red carpets aplenty.

A figure hugging, blanc, strapless plunge, centre split full length dress offered a dose of provocation. Model and TV personality, Laura Dundovic wore the lime splice version to the recent TV Week Logie Awards. The bold shade was a refreshing choice amongst the sea of predictable black and flesh toned gowns.

Costarella's 'SOLAIRE' collection offered a delectable mix of drama, sass and sophistication with arabesques reminiscent of 1920s / 1930s Parisian theatre.

Versace Atelier Spring 2014

Donatella Versace's Atelier Couture Collection was a breathtaking display of tantalising grandeur replete with all the hallmark features Versace is famed for. Think exhibitionism, sass and mesmeric garments for the fearless, empowered, woman.

Model of the moment Anna Ewers opened the collection in a sensual, black satin hooded single breasted tux featuring a crystallized hood and lapels. The rear of the jacket was spliced open to reveal shoulder blades, precision tailoring ensued a sleek silhouette when paired to an asymmetrical draped skirt.

An immaculate, snow white, peak shoulder tux complete with dart detail and flat placket hugged every curve of model Sasha Luss's torso. Sequin centre back embellishment is sure to garner plenty of attention. A nude bustier complete with burnished bronzed sequins shimmied with every stride Luss made.

A dark grape, fluid, draped silk jersey glided over Jacquelyn Jablonski's physique, brimming with Greek goddess connotations. The dress came complete with structured shoulder, plunging to the waist, long sleeves and a nude, sequined, embellished body suit reminiscent of ice skating attire which was  affixed to a knee grazing skirt.

A cowl neck, muted lavender, micro mini dress with diaphanous, billowy split sleeves encrusted with Swarovski crystals came complete with nude, undulating mosaic tile detail. This was adjoined to a racy, wrap, mini skirt. 

A deluxe, ostentatious midnight cobalt, oversized fur coat was a plush addition sure to appeal to Russian glamazons. The coat was accessorised with a Georgette hood. Fur also played a starring role on an off the shoulder, belted coat in the pure shade of snow white, drawn together by a gridded boxing belt. An inbuilt crystallized hood and shoulder detail added sheer decadence. Donatella's current campaign star and muse, Lady Gaga requested that she attain this one of a kind, handmade, couture garment to add to her collection. Versace ever so kindly obliged, so don't expect to see this luxury coat gracing the pages of Vogue Paris anytime soon. Fashion heavyweights Emmanuelle Alt and Mario Testino were also present in the front row alongside Gaga.

A cleverly draped, golden chartreuse, turtleneck dress was spliced and slashed to reveal a diamond bralet. The dress gathered at the hip and fell elegantly creating a sleek arabesque.

An attention grabbing shade of molten mandarin, Fanta highlighted a floor sweeping halter dress and was accompanied by a thigh high split and ornate sequin obi waist cincher, adding an iridescent sheen. Centre part, poker straight Donatella inspired locks were twinned to garments.

Anna Selezneva modelled a monochromatic, black and white mink fur stole which was married to a cutaway, transparent, halter jumpsuit, slashed past the navel. Plenty of flesh was on display with a standout low scoop back.

A ruched, fishtail silver evening dress with nude embellished glass beaded inserts featured on decolletage and side torso added high voltage allure with a flirtatious edge. A seductive, pistachio, asymmetrical scarf dress swathed Manon Leloup's body. Intricate sequin darts throughout added plenty of dazzle and scintillation. 

The finale song that pumped throughout the room was 'Born This Way' by Lady Gaga. This was a fitting choice given the close relationship Versace and Gaga currently share.

Emilio Pucci Pre Fall 2014

Stalwart, Peter Dundas of Emilio Pucci presented a triumphant display this Pre Fall 2014 season. Majestically stylish garments for the proverbial globetrotter were present throughout the collection.

Look 1 comprised of a sloping shoulder cocoon jacket with poncho like qualities. The jacket featured Ikat embroidery in shades of magenta, crimson, white and black. The jacket was paired to white, flat front jodhpurs with illusionistic side black panelling creating a sleek silhouette. The pants were tucked into intricately laced midi boots with triple buckle detail.

A plunge kaftan oozing with liberating connotations came complete with diaphanous 3/4 sleeves with ornate, embellished hem and cuffs.

Robin Hood inspired ebony, suede, lace up, over the knee, second skin boots with eyelet detail concluded the look.

A flamboyant, fairy floss pink, faux fur, oversized, double breasted coat fell mid calf and was accompanied by muted fuchsia suede boots. A look not for the faint hearted. An effervescent, boatneck maxi column dress complete with cascading pink and purple motif was a winning combination of pulchritude and polished bohemia. A graphic, architecturally inspired, aubergine, black and white body skimming dress was attenuated by a robe style belt. Colour blocking was prevalent on a cobalt and snow white envelope clutch.

A pristine white cape coat with funnel neckline revealing black fur trimming was a chic and simplistic garment with just the right dose of minimalism thrown into the mix. A suede and waxed leather, textural, large size satchel was clutched casually.

A Florentine Pucci signature scarf print turtleneck dress in beetroot featured diamond print design and was married to desert sand suede boots. Stretch ponti suiting in the eye catching shade of azure featured on stretch ponti leggings and safari inspired hip length jacket. Leather dungarees were worn effortlessly with braces slumped casually by the side of thighs. The dungarees were twinned to yellow and cobalt, embellished,studded boatneck knit with subtle fluted sleeve.

A sizzling, sirenesque, teal body con, floor sweeping jersey gown complete with libidinous hip high split was held strategically together with gold button and elastic toggle detail. The split revealed matching teal suede thigh high boot. A burnished bronze, scintillating sequin tux with black lapels was a lavish addition. Flat front cigarette leg trousers screamed Studio 54. An Ikat print, duchesse satin, textural plunge evening gown with tulle trimmings, peplum and cummerbund starred in the shades of cobalt and black. This was the closing look of the show. A standout, timeless classic with an avant garde edge.

Gucci Pre Fall 2014

Frida Giannini's Pre Fall Collection brimmed with 60s and 70s references. Pop Art, conceptualism and Andy Warhol sprung to mind with garments comprising of tailored silhouettes, bold graphic prints and the time honoured staple trench.

The collection opened with fire engine red, cigarette leg trousers, minimalistic, sleek fuchsia overcoat offering clean lines which was teamed with a raspberry v-neck sweater, leather shirt, patent horse bit loafers and a leather Greek fisherman cap. A white, architectural, quilted envelope clutch finished the look.

A magenta cocoon shift in free flowing proportions was married to a leather, platform midi boot featuring a chunky, platform pillar heel. Socks were worn peeking over the top of the boot which gave the look a distinct 70s flavour.

A neon tangerine duffle coat came complete with oversized black toggles. Colour blocking played a starring role in the collection and this was evident with the coat being paired to a chambray shirt, vermilion round neck fur sweater complete with fuchsia streamlined trousers.

A high waisted, knife edge pleated skirt in persimmon fell mid thigh. Casual cool prevailed when twinned to an oxblood, oversized, man style leather shirt.

Military references were apparent on a navy, shrunken, double breasted jacket paired with matching tailored trousers. teal platforms added an unexpected twist.

A gargantuan, astrakhan golden chartreuse fur jacket was teamed with a mustard and black Breton stripe top, skinny leg ankle grazing trousers and black patent loafers.

Leather featured on a sumptuous waxed fudge jacket. The shade of canary yellow starred on trousers and loafers, finished off with a pair of eternally chic wayfarers. Canary yellow continued to make an appearance on a poetic, ladylike demure, above the knee, body skimming dress complete with peplum obi sash and puff sleeve shoulder detail.

Covet worthy garments included a teal, brushed angora, double breasted jacket with a funnel neck, ribbed knit and a boatneck sloping shoulder, trapeze woollen sweater with wide black leather cuffs.

An undulating flesh, black and white striped maxi dress commanded attention. On the other end of the spectrum a simplistic black shift with embellished beaded collar and cuffs offered a lackadaisical approach.

Burberry Pre Fall 2014

Designer Christopher Bailey of Burberry Prorsum embarked on a design affair rich in classicism coupled with meticulous tailoring which resulted in an enchanting collection bursting with panache.

A minted turquoise, knee grazing dress featured spliced keyhole to the navel and gathered waist detail. An elegant, body skimming, sensual addition which was complete when paired with the time honoured ankle strap stiletto embodying pure femininity.

An angora wool, muted mauve, midi length, pencil skirt oozed with textural qualities. The skirt was married to a printed graphic shirt complete with road map fabric. A black, floral, jacquard, double breasted jacket worn with sleeves pushed up effortlessly, accompanied the look. A diamond print, mocha and black bowling bag featuring gold accents and a pair of suede, intricate lace up, ankle wedge booties, with peep toe, were the accessory of choice. 

The staple Burberry trench was reinvented in a grey and white London street map fabric, collar displayed protruding, pure ingenuity by Mr Bailey.

Jewel tone, emerald green, brocade, baroque skinny leg trousers had plenty of rock star appeal. A shrunken, leather, bouffant, cropped jacket came complete with plush fur detail. Romance ruled on a forest green, chiffon, scoop neck, sleeveless dress with ruffles, flounces and a drop waist. A midi length hemline and enticing side split added allure. A mahogany bowling bag with mod squad print oozed with Prada connotations.

A colossal, black fur luxury collar was married to a chunky, navy, crop cardi jacket. A tee with architecture motif and a rich khaki angora wool pencil skirt finished the look which evoked deconstructed glamour.

An ink, ostentatious fur chubby was worn with a midi length transparent lace skirt which skimmed thighs. Other standout garments included a blanket wrap cape coat in cobalt and sapphire baroque trousers. A sumptuous, high neck, black fur caplet was twinned with a sapphire, body con, stretch velvet embroided dress.

A floor length, v-neck, side split, scarf print dress was teamed with a shrunken leather moto jacket with fur shoulder and wrist detail. Cultivated beauty was toughened up with this fashion forward jacket.

A ruby, jacquard, brocade trench dress brimmed with consummate class. The epitome of regality. Possibly a future ensemble to add to Princess Catherine's collection.

Must have summer essentials include distressed denim shorts in ultra cheeky proportions. The leather Gladiator sandal returns once again this season with a vengeance. Shades include ebony, butterscotch, and dark chocolate. Pedicured nails a must! A luxurious beach towel in a Moroccan inspired print will radiate beatnik charm. I'm pictured wearing my floral and crochet bandeau bikini by Seafolly and my Ginja 'Marrakech' halter bikini complete with undulating paisley print and tassel detail. A roomy, durable, carry all for all your beach necessities is a given. Eyewear designers continue to push the boundaries with fashion forward designs. Be sure to get your hands on a pair of covet worthy, sophisticated yet edgy cat eye wayfarers in tortoise. A bold, brightly coloured slip dress is sure to get you noticed. Perfect to throw over your bikini for a beach to bar ensemble oozing of feminine allure and nonchalance. Accessorise with oversized, sterling silver, Navajo earrings or layer wooden beads around your neck or wrists for instant hippie, luxe glamour. Lastly to avoid harmful UV rays be sure to don a straw cowboy hat a la Elle Macpherson style.

Blumarine Spring/Summer 2014

Italian designer Anna Molinari of Blumarine produced a whimsical S/S 2014 Collection brimming with innocence and feminine charm. Halfway through the collection Molinari injected a renegade, grunge element. Insouciance reigned supreme.

Kati Nescher opened the show in a pure white, delicate, point d'esprit, funnel neck peak shoulder jacket with deconstructed cummerbund detail worn spliced open to reveal a transparent mesh tank. Sleeves on the jacket comprised of embroided butterfly lace. Bermuda shorts in matching lace fabric completed the look. White, strappy, T-bar sandals with caged connotations were a bourgeois accessory.

A frothy, ethereal, dainty, butterfly lace strapless dress was body skimming and featured point d-esprit on sleeves and decolletage. A grosgrain ribbon belt attenuated the waist.

Romanticism ruled on a blouse featuring scattered blossoms with ruched cap sleeve detail. A simplistic addition which oozed with insouciance. Strategically placed blossoms were strewn throughout a sheer tank paired with an a-line pencil skirt. Detail comprised of a light imprint of fire engine red and ink.

A nude, barely there look graced a round neck, 3/4 sleeve floor length gown with embroided rosettes. A nude strapless corset slip dress was worn underneath. Butterflies enveloped a high waisted pencil skirt in shades of teak and white with gossamer like qualites. Garden party attire best conjured up the imagery.

The rebel within began to emerge when Yumi Lambert took to the runway in a strapless, ruffled rosette dress complete with mullet hemline, flowers cascading. Black, chunky ankle boots with buckle detail were a fierce addition.

Molinari channelled a modern day Brigitte Bardot reminiscent of her St Tropez days when Anna Ewers modelled a sweetheart neckline, fitted dress with cake like ruffled trimmings in canary yellow. A duchesse silk satin pencil skirt in lemon curd was paired with an empire line, cropped cardigan complete with fur collar and crystallized body and sleeves. A bling worthy, crystal encrusted envelope clutch complemented the look.

A lady bug red, man style blazer was of relaxed proportions,  featuring a white lapel, a provocative sheer mesh tee teamed with masculine, black leather, 3/4 trousers.

A fire engine red, a-line leather pencil skirt was married to a scoop neck blouse complete with silver cobweb embellishment.

A black chiffon, polka dot, deep plunge blouse revealed Ieva Laguna's broad shoulders. The blouse was worn tucked into a monochromatic black and white pencil skirt with sketched flowers printed onto the fabric.

An iridescent silver and black sequin encrusted mini dress was paired with a structured shoulder satin and lace tuxedo jacket. Perfect for the club scene and glitterati. The show drew to a close with a  strapless, cocktail, undulating ostrich feather dress in dove grey, black and silver. Embroided silver fauna completed the look.

Altuzarra Resort 2014

Innovative designer Joseph Altuzarra produced a collection resplendent of the seventies era which was replete with bohemian references and ostentatious connotations.

The collection opened with a lace up, luxe, ivory and vermilion, embroided, poetic silk blouse bursting with romanticism. This was married with a taupe, tailored vest and matching narrow leg, flare trouser. A butterscotch double waist cincher featured leather braiding detail and was a beatnik accessory choice.

Ikat, Isabel Marant inspired knee length terracotta and navy culottes came complete with knife edge pleating and were twinned with a lace up tunic. A neutral trench, very Burberry was worn effortlessly over the look. Cowhide, clog inspired platforms with ankle strap detail lent a rustic edge.

Beach chic ruled on an effortless, honey butter crochet, knit sweater with elongated sleeves. A juxtaposition of city bourgeois crept in when teamed with a form fitting pencil skirt with side split detail. 

A more formal take featured on the classic chinoiserie with silk chiffon cuff inserts and panelled hemline in dramatic ebony offering an enchanting effect. A black leather waist cincher set off the dress adding further ambiguity hardening the arabesque. 

A denim, chambray suit comprised of a high waisted pencil skirt, worn with suede hipster tassel belt, a denim blazer and innocence prevailed on a sheer, white lace bralet.

Continuing the denim theme was a sharply tailored blazer complete with white lace overlay. A charming addition paired with a denim shirt plunging to models navel followed by crisp, polished denim flares extending the silhouette.

A sculpturally inclined, body skimming dress with lace inserts scattered throughout the dresses entirety offered lingerie references. A boudoir inspired, tea lace camisole with blanc panelling was paired with a cumbersome chocolate, suede pencil skirt. An off the shoulder, shirred pirate blouse with diaphanous sleeves was married with a skinny tasseled ebony scarf and high waisted skirt with lace peeking coquettishly from a titillating side split. This look eluded Tom Ford's YSL days, particularly his Fall 2001 Collection. It's as though Altuzarra delved straight into the archives with this duplicate aesthetic. 

A fox stole in burnt persimmon made an appearance over a ruched wrap, cross over dress, cleverly draped with modern dance references.

A showstopping evening wear look consisted of a burnished gold lace crew neck, maxi dress worn gathered at the waist and paired with ostentatious embellished bolero jacket with metallic accents, sure to garner plenty of attention!

Gucci's Frida Giannini's latest Fall 2013 collection channelled dramatic, exotic, reptilian creations which were replete with rigour and strictly disciplined silhouettes. The embodiment of perilous reptiles, models slithered down the runway with overt prowess. 

On the opposite end of the spectrum, other garments oozed of ladylike tenure with demure hemlines aplenty. Conceptual, architectural lines also punctuated garments. Oriental themes crept in on numerous looks, an influence proving immensely popular with designers once again this season.

The opening runway look comprised of a black, cropped, bouffant sleeved jacket with fuchsia and magenta leaf sleeve detail and black pencil skirt with matching side leaf panelling. A vibe reminiscent of 70s bohemian sprung to mind.

The leather tee was updated and came in the form of an immaculate, fetishistic waxed leather turtleneck paired with a gooseberry, collarless cocoon coat. Gucci's staple crocodile doctors bag complete with signature bamboo handle was a covetable, luxurious addition. Over the knee, high gloss, patent leather crocodile boots concluded the look.

Punchy contours found their way onto a 50s, open lapel, deep plunge, grape v-neck dress which was spiced up with a dramatic split proving to be a provocative annexation.

A boatneck, pillow sleeved leather jacket offered high voltage chic, paired with a leather pencil skirt full of rigour.

Frida Giannini delved deep into the archives of Tom Ford's former glory days at the helm of Gucci with a mottled croc, peak power shoulder, high neck dress. A sizzling, amplified garment, unmistakably Gucci with the houses signature DNA plastered over every deftly drape curve of model Bette Franke. Revivalism at its best.

Julia Nobis modelled a phosphorescent, burnished, chartreuse leaf conceptual peplum jacket with puff ball sleeve detail and matching straight leg trouser. Astrakhan fur made its way onto coat collars, terracotta Peter Pan jackets and pencil skirts.

Plaid played a starring role in the collection in the collection featuring muted shades of teal, ruby and canary yellow. A showstopping look comprised of cornflower blue plaid turtleneck shell paired with skinny leg trouser and cornflower blue overcoat with black fur collar feature, modelled by Caroline Brasch Nielsen.

A liquid teal, satin, molten turtleneck cocktail dress skimmed the body with fluidity featuring tiered, cascading, sleeves.

Closing runway looks consisted of breathtaking eveningwear. Joan Smalls emerged on the runway in a black lace mesh blouse complete with ribena and black pearl hued silk fringing and pailettes. A scintillating liquid, floor grazing skirt resplendent of oil amplified the arabesque. Sigrid Agren modelled a jaw dropping rich chartreuse, silk, satin maxi skirt twinned with lace mesh long sleeve blouse complete with undulating feather detail placed strategically over Agren's bust. The transparency of the lace had a gossamer, spider web effect lending a dark, gothic, glamour aesthetic to the collection.

No doubt stars will be clamouring to get their hands on one of the piquant closing garments which reigned supreme.

Versace Couture 2012

For Versace's Couture 2012 Collection the house continued with the tried and true excess glamour formula that has worked so effortlessly for the empire. 
Lindsey Wixon opened the show in a structured ivory and gold trench dress. The leather sleeves were slashed and the waist cinched with an emblematic boxing belt. Other trenches on the runway included a metallic rose gold trench with oversized pockets featuring blanket stitch detail and a neon citrus perforated leather trench.
Of course there were the mandatory showstopping, impeccably glamorous eveningwear Versace is famed for.
Standout eveningwear included an apricot and fuschia asymmetrical, silk scarf print gown with thigh high split. Billowy chiffon trailed behind Anna Selezneva as she sexily strutted down the runway with overt Versace prowess. The Versace woman this season was a modern day warrior. She embodied strength, assertiveness and confidence yet still maintained the polished allure synonymous with Versace.
Corsets featuring lattice bodices were teamed with voluminous, free flowing silhouettes on the lower half of the torso in different layers and textures.
Splices of flesh coquettishly peeked through garments, fabric strategically placed, oozing seductive charm.
A boned, body con mini dress with racer front neckline in striking hues of mauve, turquoise and champagne will be a surefire hit with the young, hip fashion pack.
Overall the collection had a gladiatorial robustness air to it, paired with the glossy grandeur and vivacity that pay homage to the Versace aesthetic.

Tom Ford Winter 2012 Collection

Tom Ford's design philosophy is synonymous with high end glamour and overtly oozes sex appeal.

This season the designer did not disappoint his legion of dedicated followers.

Fur coats in eye popping shades of tangerine and canary yellow were paired against ebony pieces.Think black turtleneck, fine knit dresses teamed with knee high, slouch, leather, stiletto boot.

Leather played an essential role in the collection. Boatneck, leather, croc top complete with sleek leather pencil skirt had a Matrix, dominatrix feel to it. A leather shirt was unbuttoned coquettishly . A black moto jacket with fur collar cut a sleek silhouette.

A standout hounds tooth coat with statement upturned collar was paired with charcoal suiting and snow python, knee high boots, very exotic. A ruched satin pencil skirt was body hugging. A gold stretch sequin dress with torso pleating had a similar aesthetic to the house of Balmain.

Showstopping eveningwear included a raccoon like stole with white embellished evening dress complete with black, sheer, panels, a white asymmetrical neckline floorlength dress with dramatic, billowy split sleeves and structured shoulder and a crystallized insert, sleek black one shoulder number.

Clean, minimalistic wrist and neck cuffs featured in gold. Mod envelope clutches featured metal plate embellishment. Cat eye sunglasses were a chic offering and large oversized sunglasses were perfect for those wishing to go incognito.

Michael Kors Fall 2012

Michael Kors continued his usual design philosophy this season.
Luxurious, timeless pieces were on display. The Michael Kors woman appears to have journeyed off into the rustic wilderness and found sanctuary in a decadent cabin lodge.
Tartans and plaid were key elements in the collection. The fabric featured on ponchos, capes and coats.
Fur was statement making, seen on collars of lace blouses, leather gloves, stoles and gilets.
There is no excuse this winter for not looking warm and chic this season. Mongolian fur coats were absolutely stunning in soft silver,grey, vermilion, ivory and fawn.
Tweed and leather shifts with scalloped hemlines offered sharp and sleek tailoring. This look was complete with wayfarers.
Cable knit turtlenecks were paired with champagne , lace skirts. Gold sequin, drop waist, flapper dress, worn by Karmen Pedaru added plenty of glitz and glamour. Hounds tooth, cigarette style pants offered an alternative to plaid.
Accessories included oversized fur totes, fox fur tails attached to clutches, black ankle boots with chrome chunky heel, T bar Mary Jayne's and fur boots which had a Yeti like quality to them.
Charcoal, chunky, ribbed socks were prevalent on the runway, these complimented charcoal, wool, arm warmers.
Looks were frequently brought together with belts. Think either super skinny or wide waist cinchers.
No doubt this collection will delight Kors's avid American clientele.
Although I might not be able to afford anything in this highly covetable collection, I recently purchased Kors by Michael Kors, Jada, suede, lace up, wedge bootie for $240. I LOVE that I have a little piece of Michael Kors in my wardrobe!

As I was searching through my modelling portfolios I stumbled across my first ever photoshoot. I'm 15 years old in this shot.

It was for edgy, fashion publication, Oyster magazine. The shoot took place on a rooftop on Oxford Street, Darlinghurst. It was shot by the immensely talented, photographer, Eddy Ming. Australian designer Nicola Finetti, who is a creative visionary, styled the shoot, with designs from his latest winter collection. The wonderful Angela Davis did my hair and make up. Angela is now based in London.

Looking back I had no idea how privileged I was to be working with three, Australian, fashion heavyweights on my first ever photoshoot!
