CHRISTOPHER KANE SPRING 2017

British designer Christopher Kane held his Spring 2017 collection at the Tate Gallery. The collection was aptly titled 'Make Do And Amend' which resulted in an artisanal display for the beatnik bohemian. Flamboyant, hap hazardous mash ups were on offer for the neo siren with a penchant for characterful ensembles.

The opening look consisted of a transparent, gossamer, midi length dress in a muted shade of lavender. Abstract embroidery was plastered throughout the dress and comprised of undulating lemon, tomato and onyx squiggles. Layers of frothy tulle added ethereal qualities. A collarless, fox fur coat was teamed to the kitsch dress. The coat starred in shades of vanilla, buff, charcoal and flecked honey. Cumbersome, bejewelled crocs were paired to the wasp silhouette concluding in a juxtaposition of lighter than air versus masculinity.

An amethyst, deep decolletage, peplum cami featured mustard rouleau straps and intricate embellishment. A multi stone drop choker featured in shades of citrine, emerald, aquamarine and morganite. A 3/4, ivory pleated patchwork shirt was highlighted by polaroid images of garments from previous Kane collections, nostalgia reigning supreme. A hybrid showercap/ turban graced the head and was worn nonchalantly on the side exuding old world glam.

Modern contemporary dominated on a form fitting, long sleeve, round neck dress in muted mauve. Black panelling, fire engine red and white swirls frequented the upper torso. Bold, oversized, daisy floral motifs punctuated the skirt and the scalloped hem. Statement making crystallized rocks dangled precariously from gold hoops.

Quirky, eccentric and unashamedly seductive was the order of the day on a black, transparent sheath festooned with cobalt, sparkling embroidery. Sheer denier stockings were layered to the uninhibited number which left very little to the imagination. A pearlescent, ice blue, leopard trench coat was layered to the provocative dress. Gold crocs and a small neat satchel in ebony were the accessories of choice.

A series of pleated, metallic, lustrous, lame dress took to the runway in a colour palette including burnished bronze, midnight blue and pewter. Think flesh baring panels, striking silhouettes reminiscent of the 70s decade brimming with fluidity. Undone, greasy fashion tresses equalled no muss, no fuss.

Other runway favourites included a navy, boatneck, panelled lace mini dress complete with voluminous floral detail accenting the sleeve, shoulders and bust. A turmeric body con, thigh grazing lace mini dress was for the lithe and screamed for the elixir of youth. Peek-a-boo whispers of tulle and suspended gold rings added a tough girl stance to the ultra feminine number.

Iconic designer Michael Kors presented an effervescent Spring 2017 collection replete with American classicism. Easy elegance was very much in attendance with flirtatious floral dresses oozing with finesse. Distinguished lines were also on offer with sleek, sleeveless, belted twill trenches in midnight blue.

Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls opened the show in a navy blue, streamlined trench dress. A defining silhouette ensued with the waist attenuated by a simplistic fudge leather belt. A contrasting, stark white collar added a nautical edge. A provocative thigh split brought allure to the equation. Accessories comprised of mocha, leather, peep toe platforms complete with dainty ankle strap. A utilitarian, two tone, envelope satchel was slung across the chest and finalised with gold hardware.

Flower power reigned supreme on a cornflower blue, navy and pristine white argyle vest modelled by Frederikke Sofie. The floral, emblazoned vest was coupled to a paisley, pinstripe combination, masculine shirt. Elongated sleeves were punctuated by delicate floral cuffs. A 70s inspired skinny neck tie featured in the same delicate daisy print. An above the knee, a-line, flounce skirt was highlighted by asymmetrical bold flora panels. Minimalistic, white accessories took centre stage and included white frame aviators, a bourgeois stark contrast, platform peep toe high heeled sandals and a sleek mini satchel finalised with a canvas, slate grey, shoulder strap.

Kors favourite Cameron Russell modelled a 40s derived, floral, halter, ruffle bandeau in shades of oyster grey, chocolate,caramel and midnight. Belted, high waisted bikini bottoms starred tiered, hip ruffles adding a voluminous touch. 

 Upper crust elegance prevailed on a Lauren Hutton inspired safari suit in heavenly white. Over extended sleeves with side split cuffs, a belted nipped in waist and a collarless neckline screamed of polished panache. Languid palazzo pants offered freedom of movement to the silhouette. A navy, crisp shirt with an oversized collar was teamed underneath the jacket with matching skinny scarf adorning the neck. A waxy leather, envelope clutch accessorised the sumptuously good pantsuit. 

Dutchie Marjan Jonkman took to the runway in a bloom filled trench dress. The appealing number featured peak shoulders, attenuated waist, streamlined sleeves and a bare v-neckline. A capacious skirt proceeded to flow, grazing kneecaps.

Splashes of turquoise, lime, watermelon and fuchsia ignited the runway with feminine arabesques consisting of bralets, tea dresses, poetic blouses and floor sweeping column maxi dresses.

An exuberant presentation replete with quintessential wardrobe staple taking you from boardroom to bar.

Norwegian born designer, Peter Dundas delved deep into psychedelic bohemia for his latest S/S 2017 collection. Exotic, artisanal excursions to the 1970s decade proved popular once again for the retro, gypsy, aficionado. American Indian cultural references were fused to Scandinavian style elements, think Navajo blanket wraps teamed to wooden, soled clogs.

A riot of colour starred on a patchwork, billowing, tiered, floor grazing maxi dress. A scoop neck complete with empire waist featured on the ethereal design. Scintillating gold pailettes ignited the bust area. Patchwork floral combinations were highlighted in a kaleidoscope of colour including glistening gold, cherry, marshmallow, fuchsia, lemongrass, cobalt and magenta. Embellished sequin panelling adding an iridescent sheen. A matching bishop sleeve bolero was twinned to the opulent maxi. A statement, bejewelled, sapphire choker festooned the neck.

Languid, embroidered, burnt mandarin, silk, velvet flares brimmed of energised cool. Intricate handiwork was evident on a silver, floral embellishment which cascaded down the outer thigh. A hip hugging, sterling silver Navajo belt was slung low on the hips. A body baring, deep decolletage, lace up blouse complete with frayed chiffon trimmings was showcased in a  radiant electric blue, floral patchwork. Over extended, flared sleeves screamed of nonchalance. A reptilian, ebony, fringed leather waistcoat was layered to the navel gazing blouse. An ornate tiered choker with matching dream catcher earrings was the bijoux of choice ideal for a well versed globetrotter discovering ethnic finds at worldwide bazaars.

A velvet, cropped, cornflower blue, matador inspired jacket starred peak shoulders and a narrow silhouette. Black, decadent embroidery oozed with enchantment. A vintage, rock tee in the shade of grape was worn tucked into a tiered, patchwork, hippie, column skirt, gossamer airiness fused with flamenco connotations dominating the arabesque. A rock goddess, skinny scarf accented the neck resulting in a hap-hazardous combo for the free spirited, characterful woman. 

A plunging, eveningwear dress featured rouleau straps with cross decolletage detail. Lively, caged panelling in the shade of eggplant caressed model Faretta's curves effortlessly. Delicate craftsmanship imbued a defining quality. Undulating beadwork flourished on sheer panels in a colour palette consisting of peony pink, forest green, lemon curd, eggplant, cobalt and lavender.

Bold cabana stripes frequented the runway and were evident on a sleek, 7/8 side split trousers, lace up peasant blouse, lace up flares, waist coat and form fitting blazers.

A dandified, nomadic display with tenderness very much in attendance. Ostentation and impeccable glamour on the agenda.

Designer Joseph Altuzarra unveiled his Spring 2017 collection with aplomb. Altuzarra channelled a cheerful, upbeat, coquettish, convivial vibe with saccharine prints bursting with femininity,very much in attendance. A Dolce la Vita theme reigned supreme, highlighting the female form.

American model Ondria Hardin took to the runway in a form fitting, cornflower blue, knee length pencil skirt plastered with peach and amethyst enlarged poppies. The high waisted, belted skirt was twinned to a deep decolletage, sleeveless, wraparound blouse featuring the same floral poppy print this time flourishing in shades of vanilla, watermelon and fuchsia.Accessories comprised of sky blue, leather, high heeled sandals complete with wraparound ankle tie detail, statement, modern, undulating earrings in the shade of oyster and a fairy floss pink and python mini saddle bag finalised with a black leather tassel and cherry key charm. 

Romance ruled on a ruffled, floral bralet in colourful hues of ballet pink, rockmelon and strawberry. A neat, ladylike, blue gingham pencil skirt featured darts and a raspberry, embroidered, scalloped hem. A grommet, duck egg blue, leather belt attenuated the waist. A mini tomato red leather pouchette added easy elegance to the ensemble.

An exotic, reptilian, precision cut blazer in powder puff blue was given a dose of bohemia with sequined lemons embellished throughout. The sharp tailored blazer was married to a dainty, delicate, pastel blue, cherry print bralet. The print continued to star on a bias cut, knee length skirt complete with asymmetrical ruffles. Glitter mauve, ankle strap, high heeled sandals added some spun sugar to the sweet number.

Dutch model Romy Schonberger modelled a ribbed, off the shoulder, sky blue, stretch knit top exposing bare shoulders. A wraparound pencil skirt with flirty thigh split screamed femme fatale. A natural python leather belt nipped in the waist. A metallic silver, snakeskin, mini, saddle bag shone iridescently. Avant garde, sculptural, chandelier style earrings worked harmoniously with the slicked back hairstyle which framed the face effortlessly.

Other key garments included a candy stripe, ribbed, body con, off the shoulder dress caressing the female arabesque and tiered, decadent, floor grazing maxi dresses in python and broderie anglaise. Military accents made an appearance, igniting safari jackets, a sleek shirt dress and a cargo skirt piped in snakeskin trimmings.

An exuberant, charming display bursting with feminine allure.

MIU MIU SPRING 2017

Legendary Italian designer Miuccia Prada carved out a dandified Spring 2017 collection enriched in 60s and 70s post Italian war glamour. Pitch perfect style fused with retro connotations resonated with a succession of garments oozing with radiance and old world allure.

Look one was modelled by Dutch newcomer Birgit Kos and comprised of a raven, halter, bandeau swim top complete with button hole strap closure, Aztec embroidery plastered across the chest and a ruffled hem embodying girlish charm. Matching, high waisted full briefs completed the flirty swimwear set conjuring up images of 50s style pin up girls. An understated, black apron skirt was tied casually around the waist, exposing legs. A perfect beach cover up. Patent, black, double strap slides featured a tomato red, platform heel. An embellished, artisanal swim cap adorned the head adding sass to the ensemble.

Anastasia Panasenko modelled a 70s derived, graphic print bikini bralet in shades of khaki, mandarin, vanilla fudge and black. The abstract print continued to dominate on matching, high waisted, boy leg swim briefs. Eclectic, rimless, burnt orange sunglasses were oversized and sat low on the bridge of the nose. Peony pink pool slides were accented by mammoth camellia motifs adding flower power to the equation.

Gigi Hadid modelled a pristine, military green, tailored shirt. Sleeves were of 3/4 length. The wardrobe staple was worn tucked into high waisted, embroidered knickerbockers. A bouffant silhouette billowed from hips. A simplistic, polished, mini satchel was clutched neatly. Navy and fairy floss pink platform wedges in patent leather were a leg lengthening accession.

For those seeking less body baring mash ups look to the high shine, patent leather pea coat. The knee length inclusion starred contrasting white buttons and was nipped in at the waist by a slimline, toffee leather belt. The chic coat was teamed to a 60s inspired, high neck, blouse ignited by a graphic, oblong design in shades of cherry, muted pink and white. Paisley knickerbockers were twinned to the playful blouse. Pearlescent, peep toe, platform, T-bar wedges were the footwear of choice.

A culmination of cornflower blue garments dominated the runway and included a boiled wool pea coat, a terry floral robe, a belted trench and a delightful, voluminous petal clutch.

Italian nostalgia melded with coquettish enticement very much on the agenda.

TOMMY HILFIGER X GIGI HADID FALL 2016

Fashion maverick, Tommy Hilfiger collaborated with model of the moment Gigi Hadid for his Fall 2016 collection. The presentation  was held at South Street Seaport, New York with an elaborate carnival theme which included a games arcade and a Ferris wheel. With a flock of stars including Taylor Swift and her posse in attendance the highly anticipated show did not disappoint. The buy now, wear now instant gratification phenomenon was on offer with pieces hitting stores and online worldwide immediately. The collection focused on Hadid's personal off duty style with several design styles evident in the mix, think festival chic, nautical, sporting luxe, music groupie and femme fatale.

Hadid opened the show in a navy and white, shrunken, Sergeant Peppers inspired jacket. Regimental accents featured throughout. A relaxed, scoop neck tank in white was knotted nonchalantly at the navel and starred an anchor, rope motif emblazoned with Hilfiger's initials. A fringed bandana graced the neck. Black, leather skinny pants were a sizzling addition, gold zippers accenting the sleek silhouette.

Victoria's Secret model, Stella Maxwell took to the runway in a barely there, lighter than air, plunging navy tunic. A baby doll arabesque complete with poetic sleeves ignited the ships wheel, star spangled, printed chiffon fabric. Ebony, thigh high socks complete with double row gold glitter band were a great alternative to Hadid's preferred Stuart Weitzman 'Highland' over-the-knee boots and a much more attainable price point.

Sportswear heated up the the catwalk, Luna Bijl making an impact in a 90s revived, electric cobalt, silk satin boxers, plastered with nautical motifs throughout which were layered to signature Hilfiger briefs with the waist band peeking cheekily below the navel. A body baring, navy, sports mesh crop top was paired to the boxers which were married to a plush, knee length, statement, midnight fur coat finalised by two white fur bands on the cuffs. The staple fringed bandana continued to be the accessory of choice.

High octane energy was prevalent on a boyfriend, leather, bomber jacket punctuated by gold star insignia and T.H initials. Perfect attire for Hadid watching from the sidelines as current squeeze Zayn Malik performs to the screaming throngs of young girls galore. Skimpy, denim, distressed cut offs, knotted anchor tee and ribbed thigh high socks concluded the youth driven ensemble.

Other key garments included rustic cable knits in shades of vanilla, sweaters in micro proportions worn as dresses for a  'Just threw this on' approach and cropped, boxy college inspired sweaters evoking 90s R&B powerhouse sensations.

A paparazzi worthy collection sure to entice Gigi's cult social media following looking to emulate Hadid's everyday style.

Designer Tom Ford kicked off New York Fashion Week with a bang, showcasing his Fall RTW 2016 collection at the former Four Seasons restaurant. A roll call of supermodels took to the runway including Ford favourites Amber Valetta, Liya Kebede, Carolyn Murphy and Natasha Poly. The collection fell into two categories, ladylike military surplus versus amplified, impeccable glamour.

The first series of looks Ford experimented with textured tweeds, herringbone and washed leather, oozing with earthy connotations. Key looks included a slimline, charcoal, tweed pencil skirt which fell elegantly below the knee. The demure attire was given a dose of attitude when pared back to a honey fudge, butter soft leather jacket. A collarless, elasticised neckline, poetic sleeves and peplum waist featured on the dip dye number. Statement making jewellery was on the agenda with chain drop earrings sporting gargantuan horn and leaf accoutrement. A gold ring choker was adorned with a molten centrepiece.

Ondria Hardin modelled a structured, high neck, camouflage jacket complete with moulded peplum. A hazelnut, double leather belt nipped in the waist, feminine silhouettes highlighting the waist reigning supreme. Lemon, rounded aviators complemented the side part, slicked back hairstyle exposing enviable razor sharp cheekbones. Black, second skin, leather, over the knee boots oozed with dominatrix qualities.

American model Carolyn Murphy ignited the runway in an opulent, round neck, long, sleeve, body skimming, sequin encrusted gown. The scintillating number starred chilli red and white sequin panelling emulating flames cascading form the upper thigh. 

Natasha Poly modelled a radiant, boatneck, long sleeve, cocktail gown encapsulated in gunmetal grey and raven sequins, sheer decadence prevailing. A black waist cincher attenuated the waist of the body caressing arabesque. An opaque, ink, wide choker framing the neckline concluded the red carpet worthy addition.  

An eye catching, tomato red, wraparound, plunge sequin dress in relaxed proportions was not for the faint hearted. The eighties derived number offered plenty of seductive charm with the sequined fabric swathing the torso ever so effortlessly.

An oversized leopard print, exotic, funnel neck, sleeveless blouse starred in the shade of dove grey and ebony. The bold print was married to a sleek black pencil skirt embellished with delicate hand beaded crystal fringing which glistened with every stride Binx Walton took on the runway.

Other standouts included sumptuous fur coats steeped in luxury; think 3/4 patchwork coat with a plush shearling collar, intarsia colour block floor length coat in shades of vanilla bean, chocolate and black and a mottled shearling, dip dye coat in monochromatic hues of oyster grey, snow white and ink.

A collection enriched with stylish majesty for the jet set, fashion pack.

Italian designer Alessandro Michele held his latest resort offering at the ostentatious Westminster Abbey. When asked as to why the designer chose the aristocratic location Michele responded, "To dive in this gothic sea of inspiration! The punk, the Victorian, I can work all my life!"

A succession of haphazardous prints in a kaleidoscope of colour ignited the runway with retro connotations reigning supreme.

Poetic elements shone brightly on an electric purple, velvet, structured, bouffant sleeve mini dress. A delicate frothy lace bib in the shade of vermilion framed the shoulders and cascaded down the bodice of the dress. Chevron lace panelling  frequented the skirt and cuffs. A statement vanilla, floral centrepiece adorned the neck. Scalloped, patterned, black lace stockings, tough ankle boots bedecked with multiple straps and buckles screamed rebel biker chic. Sleek cat-eye sunglasses with hand painted gold floral detail featured on the frames.

Peasant folklore was evident on an emerald green, midi length, ponykskin, leopard coat. Plush lavender fur cuffs graced elbows while yellow and red slouch sleeves oozed of 90s grunge. A seafoam, opalescent, pleated midi skirt offered ladylike demure. Accessories comprised of cornflower blue, tiger emblazoned bowling bag complete with signature Gucci racing stripe strap. Cumbersome, almond toe leather loafers with ankle strap added a granny'esque' vibe to the eclectic ensemble. A glittery jade hat featured a centre flower crown in a vibrant coral. Oversized sunglasses complete with yellow lenses brimmed of 70s swagger.

Australian model Maddison Stubbington took to the runway in a canary yellow, romantic, velvet mini dress. A ribbed, ruffled bib in the shade of tomato and a turquoise bow flourished on the bodice. An elasticised waist resembling a garter drew in the waist. A cobalt, leather hobo featured scintillating, embellished ferns. Under the knee chevron socks in the shade of ebony were paired to round toe, reptilian high heeled sandals in neutral complete with 3 buckle closure which crept up the leg. Bronze, jewel encrusted, knuckle duster rings adorned fingers while an emerald floral brooch starred as a centrepiece to the turquoise, frayed bow.

British model Karen Elson modelled a floor sweeping vintage derived maxi dress which screamed polished, beatnik bohemian.  Striking, bold peacock print was plastered throughout which worked harmoniously against the eye catching tangerine shade of the dress. Details included 3/4 subtle bishop sleeve, grandpa collar, crochet tasselled motif keyhole, bouffant shoulders and a billowy skirt. Narrow cat-eye sunglasses highlighted cheekbones. Elongated, collarbone grazing, crochet earrings matched a voluminous crochet, crown headband. A leather cuff and bronze chain slave bracelet hardened the 70s inspired number.

A charming collection enriched in stylish majesty for the hippie at heart.

Parisian designer Olivier Rousteing created an exuberant Resort 2017 collection. Rousteing worked his masterful way on impeccably glamorous garments ideal for the self assured woman. Retro, 70s style elements and alluring 90s connotations echoed throughout. A role call of uber models including Russians Sasha Luss and Valery Kaufman fronted the high octane Resort campaign.

Luss modelled a colour blocked, striated, macrame mini dress complete with gold chain trimmings. The eye popping number starred in shades of cobalt, emerald, pineapple, orange and rose. Exposed shoulders, long sleeves, thigh grazing hemline and scoop neck detail oozed with the elixir of youth. The signature boxing belt made a cameo appearance finalised with a jade and tassel fastening.

Electrifying denim was remodelled in various silhouettes including a 7/8 trench dress deconstructed with military accents spliced to reveal nude organza panelling. Desert sand, platform, suede peep toe booties and a matching tasselled suede obi belt concluded the avant garde creation. A mid wash, denim trench was worn languidly. The staple trench was coupled to a deep decolletage, fringed, wraparound, macrame, maxi. The tasselled, plunging neckline screamed of the 70s decade. A sleeveless, tailored, safari jacket in duck egg blue denim was a streamlined addition. Four pockets with gold button accroutement and tie sash waist highlighted the foxy ensemble. Floor grazing denim flares resulted in a polished look. A midnight halter macrame, transparent mini was layered to a calf length matching cardi worn off the shoulder for a nonchalant approach.

Lively, Crayola box brights punctuated a crochet, peak shoulder, long sleeve, mini dress. Undulating panels were fused with geometric shapes in a colour palette consisting of tangerine, royal blue, azure and cardamon. A boatneck, floor grazing version starred trompe l'oeil panelling, hugging curves in all the right places. Fluid draping prevailed on a mandarin, liquid silk, cutaway, floor sweeping camisole. A wraparound bust was divided to reveal a triangle of torso flesh. A high waisted multi hued crochet maxi with double side split detail was a sublime accession pared back to the generous power draped cami.

A jewel tone, marmalade, exposed shoulder, extended waterfall sleeve blouse with scoop neck featured a decorative fringed bib in pewter. The diaphanous blouse was worn tucked into flat front, high waisted trousers slashed to unveil thigh high centre split uncovering bare pins.A ponyskin, leopard, tasselled belt attenuated the waist.

Precision tailoring featured on a pristine, marshmallow, cut out suit, windows of skin exposed, adding a flirtatious edge. A v-neckline, flared sleeves and tie waist created a feminine arabesque. Relaxed, floppy flares, caressed legs while a statement making bold, gold, jewel encrusted collar framed the neck. An oversized, metallic silver woven knit jumper starred drop armholes, elongated sleeves and a ribbed neck and hemline. A matching maxi in narrow proportions finalised the nonchalant number. A deep forest green, slinky, tiered, mousseline, maxi skirt was ignited by thigh cut-outs. A round neck, mullet cami in the matching shade of green added minimalism to the equation. A sumptuous suede, khaki cape coat brimmed of polished pananche. Midnight blue, mousseline ruffles cascaded from above the knee to the ground. A colossal gold chain choker festooned with an agate indigo and sky centrepiece. Iridescent, burnished gold, embellished flared trousers in leopard were a dramatic after five option. A woven metallic funnel neck jumper resembling tactile chainmail worked well against the scintillating trousers.

An uplifting collection replete with ostentation and pulchritude.

ALEXANDRE VAUTHIER FALL COUTURE 2016

French designer Alexandre Vauthier produced a victorious Fall Couture collection. Enlivened garments displaying exhibitionism were the order of the day, with a distinct commando does couture vibe present.

Catwalk queen Sasha Luss modelled a taupe, sweetheart bustier mini dress comprising of overlapped, horizontal strips punctuated by rivets aplenty. The thigh grazing, body con number was paired to a desert sand, sahrienne parka worn nonchalantly over shoulders. Neutral, bandage, high heeled sandals accented by eyelets concluded the intoxicating combo.

A plush, ombre, midi length fox fur coat starred  in shades of vanilla, butterscotch and salted caramel. The voluminous proportions were attenuated by a perforated, khaki, canvas belt which finalised the impeccably glamorous  winter warmer.

Texan model Lindsey Wixon modelled a showstopping, military green, deconstructed, abstract gown. Details included a strapless step neckline bodice, capacious wraparound skirt revealing a centre split with plenty of leg on offer. A punctuated, over extended belt was wrapped around the waist numerous times and knotted ever so nonchalantly with the remainder of the belt cascading to the calf. Forest green, suede lace up stilettos were the footwear of choice, ready for battle!

American Molly Blair modelled an oxblood, oversized, patent leather trench coat. Sloping shoulders, blouson sleeves, epaulettes and gun patch frequented the polished addition. Matching thigh boots featured subtle ruching, plummeting down a centre seam, oozing of sheer attitude for the liberated woman.

Dutch model Romy Schonberger took to the runway in an onyx, plumage emblazoned, strapless, mini dress. Gravity eluding feathers sewn vertically framed the decolletage ever so delicately. A matte, seaweed, accentuated waist bow nipped in the waist. An alluring cocktail number sure to get you noticed.

Androgynous tailoring came in the form of an enlarged, man style, classic white shirt, sleeves rolled up for the casual cool factor. Embellished, camouflage cargo pants were married to the staple shirt worn slouchy and cuffed. A buttersoft, leather fudge belt, chunky bejewelled layered bangles and juniper eyelet accented, ankle strap stilettos were the accessories of choice.

The fitted tuxedo was reinvented, this time consisting of a slinky maxi silhouette with a sky high thigh split. Oversized black fishnet stockings were adorned with dainty silver crystals adding a graphic element to the monochromatic garment. A plunging neckline, ink obi sash and black courts concluded the suggestive evening dress.

Easy elegance with an unmistakable Parisian mood proved to be the style flavour on the agenda.

Parisian designer, Alexandre Vauthier delivered a hedonistic collection laced with sensual fabrics in alluring body con silhouettes.

German model Toni Garrn featured throughout the Fall 2016 presentation and evoked blonde bombshell glamour perfectly.

A fire engine red, patent leather jumpsuit is sure to get your motor running. The utilitarian garment oozed with sex appeal. Details included a plunging neckline, bouffant sleeves worn pushed up ever so insouciantly, oversized pockets and a skinny leg arabesque. Scarlet stilettos and bed head tresses concluded the saucy number.

A slinky jersey evening gown injected seductive glam into the equation with a spliced torso and decolletage revealing a flirtatious game of peek-a-boo. A thigh split offered freedom of movement. Black, strappy stilettos were highlighted by delicate diamantes.

A scalloped, funnel neck, transparent, raven, leopard lace dress featured three quarter sleeves, mullet hemline and a satin sash waist tie. The cascading lace screamed modern day gothic glam. A rouleau strap, deep decolletage, sheer bodysuit was paired underneath. 

A vanilla military inspired pea coat starred brass buttons and black patent leather elbow patches. A floaty, feminine, poetic dress featured layers of fluid chiffon in the passionate shade of vermilion. Cut-out, over the knee, suede thigh boots were highlighted by lace up suede detail up the back of the leg.

Military shades crept in on a cutaway, halter, khaki tank which was teamed to a languid, sport inspired, patent leather trackpant complete with cigarette leg, elasticised waist and gargantuan zip pockets.

An olive, wool, pea coat was paired to a liquid pewter, body caressing dress. Sexy drapery fell mid thigh. Taupe over the knee thigh boots finalised the tactile, neutral ensemble.

A candy apple red, v-neck, wraparound dress featured long sleeves with gold button cuff detail, an asymmetrical hemline cut dangerously high on the upper thigh and a satin obi belt to attenuate the waist.

A racy pantsuit consisted of sleek, form fitting, black, highwaisted trousers, racy boudoir meets the boardroom mesh triangular cami married to a panelled obi belt with multi ring detail. A peak shouldered tuxedo jacket was worn nonchalantly over shoulders. 

A molten metal, metallic gold pleated maxi skirt screamed of seventies disco connotations. A matching gold lame cami was twinned to the skirt. Bronze, T-bar sandals were an indulgent addition.

An inviting collection for the enduring socialite.
