MICHAEL KORS COLLECTION 2017

Iconic designer Michael Kors presented an effervescent Spring 2017 collection replete with American classicism. Easy elegance was very much in attendance with flirtatious floral dresses oozing with finesse. Distinguished lines were also on offer with sleek, sleeveless, belted twill trenches in midnight blue.

Puerto Rican model Joan Smalls opened the show in a navy blue, streamlined trench dress. A defining silhouette ensued with the waist attenuated by a simplistic fudge leather belt. A contrasting, stark white collar added a nautical edge. A provocative thigh split brought allure to the equation. Accessories comprised of mocha, leather, peep toe platforms complete with dainty ankle strap. A utilitarian, two tone, envelope satchel was slung across the chest and finalised with gold hardware.

Flower power reigned supreme on a cornflower blue, navy and pristine white argyle vest modelled by Frederikke Sofie. The floral, emblazoned vest was coupled to a paisley, pinstripe combination, masculine shirt. Elongated sleeves were punctuated by delicate floral cuffs. A 70s inspired skinny neck tie featured in the same delicate daisy print. An above the knee, a-line, flounce skirt was highlighted by asymmetrical bold flora panels. Minimalistic, white accessories took centre stage and included white frame aviators, a bourgeois stark contrast, platform peep toe high heeled sandals and a sleek mini satchel finalised with a canvas, slate grey, shoulder strap.

Kors favourite Cameron Russell modelled a 40s derived, floral, halter, ruffle bandeau in shades of oyster grey, chocolate,caramel and midnight. Belted, high waisted bikini bottoms starred tiered, hip ruffles adding a voluminous touch. 

 Upper crust elegance prevailed on a Lauren Hutton inspired safari suit in heavenly white. Over extended sleeves with side split cuffs, a belted nipped in waist and a collarless neckline screamed of polished panache. Languid palazzo pants offered freedom of movement to the silhouette. A navy, crisp shirt with an oversized collar was teamed underneath the jacket with matching skinny scarf adorning the neck. A waxy leather, envelope clutch accessorised the sumptuously good pantsuit. 

Dutchie Marjan Jonkman took to the runway in a bloom filled trench dress. The appealing number featured peak shoulders, attenuated waist, streamlined sleeves and a bare v-neckline. A capacious skirt proceeded to flow, grazing kneecaps.

Splashes of turquoise, lime, watermelon and fuchsia ignited the runway with feminine arabesques consisting of bralets, tea dresses, poetic blouses and floor sweeping column maxi dresses.

An exuberant presentation replete with quintessential wardrobe staple taking you from boardroom to bar.

Danish designer Malene Birger unveiled her Spring 17 collection at Copenhagen Fashion Week. The collection was steeped in modern contemporary relaxed silhouettes. Admirably wearable wardrobe staples were on the agenda oozing of effortless chic.

Italian model Greta Varlese opened the show in an oversized, midi length, vanilla trench. The boxy arabesque brimmed of nonchalance. Sleeves were pushed up insouciantly. A studded waist belt was worn casually. Elongated, flare, loose trousers in the shade of oyster featured open button, side splits revealing windows of flesh. Black, cumbersome, strappy, flatforms strengthened the ensemble. An exotic, leather, python bucket bag in shades of khaki, mustard, chocolate and lemon zest was the accessory of choice. Crystal strip, drop earrings added a dose of glamour.

A deep decolletage, wraparound blouse starred in white with press stud detail frequenting the cuffs and base of the blouse. An over extended, cabana stripe, skinny scarf was draped around the neck. Hip hugging, languid, leather, peg leg trousers screamed biker chic. A heavy duty silver zipper and press stud waist detail added androgyny to the mix. A stark white, drawstring hobo bag was embellished with black beading throughout. Fairy floss pink, furry court shoes added an avant garde edge.

A black and white, candy stripe, diaphanous maxi offered freedom of movement. Details comprised of a scoop neckline, cutaway thick black shoulder straps and a mullet hemline. A matching skinny scarf adorned with tassels accessorised the resort ready number. Order that mojito now!

Heavenly monochromatic looks continued to dominate the runway with a sleek, tailored, plunging, longline vest falling elegantly to the knee. Raven loungewear pants were teamed to the clean, minimalistic vest. The hallmark skinny scarf highlighted the neck, trailing with every stride Line Brems made on the catwalk.

Danish model Mathilde Brandi modelled a simplistic, high neck, racer front, body skimming, midi dress. The sporty arabesque oozed with Scandinavian style connotations. A drawstring tote was emblazoned with scintillating silver beading carried casually by a narrow leather strap. Peep toe, ballet pink, fluffy courts added an injection of colour to the LBD ensemble.

Luxury loungewear was taken to the next level with a cobalt pajama set complete with white piping igniting the runway. Collarless, v-neckline with side split hem graced the tunic while undulating piping was evident on relaxed, subtle flare trousers. A shrunken, collarless jacket in the shade of custard was worn leisurely over the PJ set, the ultimate in finesse.

GUCCI RESORT 2017

Italian designer Alessandro Michele held his latest resort offering at the ostentatious Westminster Abbey. When asked as to why the designer chose the aristocratic location Michele responded, "To dive in this gothic sea of inspiration! The punk, the Victorian, I can work all my life!"

A succession of haphazardous prints in a kaleidoscope of colour ignited the runway with retro connotations reigning supreme.

Poetic elements shone brightly on an electric purple, velvet, structured, bouffant sleeve mini dress. A delicate frothy lace bib in the shade of vermilion framed the shoulders and cascaded down the bodice of the dress. Chevron lace panelling  frequented the skirt and cuffs. A statement vanilla, floral centrepiece adorned the neck. Scalloped, patterned, black lace stockings, tough ankle boots bedecked with multiple straps and buckles screamed rebel biker chic. Sleek cat-eye sunglasses with hand painted gold floral detail featured on the frames.

Peasant folklore was evident on an emerald green, midi length, ponykskin, leopard coat. Plush lavender fur cuffs graced elbows while yellow and red slouch sleeves oozed of 90s grunge. A seafoam, opalescent, pleated midi skirt offered ladylike demure. Accessories comprised of cornflower blue, tiger emblazoned bowling bag complete with signature Gucci racing stripe strap. Cumbersome, almond toe leather loafers with ankle strap added a granny'esque' vibe to the eclectic ensemble. A glittery jade hat featured a centre flower crown in a vibrant coral. Oversized sunglasses complete with yellow lenses brimmed of 70s swagger.

Australian model Maddison Stubbington took to the runway in a canary yellow, romantic, velvet mini dress. A ribbed, ruffled bib in the shade of tomato and a turquoise bow flourished on the bodice. An elasticised waist resembling a garter drew in the waist. A cobalt, leather hobo featured scintillating, embellished ferns. Under the knee chevron socks in the shade of ebony were paired to round toe, reptilian high heeled sandals in neutral complete with 3 buckle closure which crept up the leg. Bronze, jewel encrusted, knuckle duster rings adorned fingers while an emerald floral brooch starred as a centrepiece to the turquoise, frayed bow.

British model Karen Elson modelled a floor sweeping vintage derived maxi dress which screamed polished, beatnik bohemian.  Striking, bold peacock print was plastered throughout which worked harmoniously against the eye catching tangerine shade of the dress. Details included 3/4 subtle bishop sleeve, grandpa collar, crochet tasselled motif keyhole, bouffant shoulders and a billowy skirt. Narrow cat-eye sunglasses highlighted cheekbones. Elongated, collarbone grazing, crochet earrings matched a voluminous crochet, crown headband. A leather cuff and bronze chain slave bracelet hardened the 70s inspired number.

A charming collection enriched in stylish majesty for the hippie at heart.

MOSCHINO RESORT 2017

MOSCHINO RESORT 2017

Designer Jeremy Scott of Moschino produced a bold resort collection for the fearless fashion crusader. Psychedelic, kitsch elements played a starring role throughout, with 60s and 70s style connotations reigning supreme. The show was held in Los Angeles at LA Live. Scott stated "I just wanted to make something fun. Something a little theatrical, something colourful and upbeat, and bright, that my Soul Cycle instructor, and neighbours, and the pop stars who I adore, who are also my neighbours could come and see together". The show featured catwalk appearance by models Romee Strijd, Alessandra Ambrosio, Stella Maxwell, Miranda Kerr, Devon Aoki, Hailey Baldwin and Taylor Hill.

Miranda Kerr opened the collection modelling an exotic, embroidered, sweetheart bustier mini dress complete with matching, shrunken, bouffant sleeve, cropped jacket. The colour palette comprised of fire engine red, canary yellow and mirrored circles in undulating patterns. The cultural ensemble channelled all things Indian with plenty of spice on offer.

Dutch Victoria's Secret Angel, Romee Strijd strutted her stuff in a pair of liquorice striped bell bottoms in shades of turquoise, sherbet and onyx. The free spirited flares were teamed to a matching bralet complete with delicate lemon tassel trimmings. A stud infested leather jacket oozed with the rock n roll cool factor. Accessories comprised of enlarged hippie beads in a rainbow of colour attached to a gold medallion, anchor suspended choker, floral floppy sun hat emblazoned with oversized blooms, chain link hip hugging waist belt featuring peace sign trinkets and platform Mary Janes. 

Flower power dominated on a sleek, tailored tuxedo jacket ignited by lavender, lime, pink and yellow flowers splashed boldly throughout. Narrow fitted flares caressed legs and screamed free spirited woman. A long, single layer of love beads and a bejewelled heart choker adorned the neck. Gargantuan embellished cross earrings dangled precariously from lobes while a colossal, floppy fun hat in smashing snow leopard was plastered with Moschino's logo.

Bleached, micro mini denim hotpants were cut high on the thigh and starred aquamarine diamond and stud embellishment. Girls dust off that bedazzler and trim pockets with rhinestones aplenty. A turmeric, cropped sweater with elbow length sleeves featured a fuchsia Ganesha elephant motif with a kaleidoscope of balloons surrounding the cartoon elephant. An oversized page boy hat in the shade of pineapple, mirrored colourful round sunglasses and avant garde mirror and sequin encrusted earrings were the accessory of choice. Tomato red, Converse All Stars inspired, platform high top boots concluded the gaudy get up.    

Chanel Iman modelled floral, watermelon hued, leather boxing shorts decorated with Moschino's logo. A leather, hot pink, sky and orange bustier sprinkled with baubles added a flirtatious edge. Mandarin, sequined, go-go boots concluded the frolicsome combo.

Noughties model Devon Aoki closed the show in a pair of transparent, cornflower blue, lace flares and an ornate sweetheart cropped bustier. Clusters of floral motifs in hues of periwinkle, amethyst, magenta, lime and marigold flourished on the playful number. A mini replica leather jacket handbag complete with chain handle was decorated with lipsticks and badges galore. A mammoth Barbie pink Greek fisherman cap was punctuated by mirrored discs, colossal papier mache bangles in a variety of colours, layered for maximum effect and a hyperbolized cross ornament played centrepiece on a flower encrusted short chain necklace.

An uplifting feel good display, sure to brighten your day. Wallflowers need not apply.

GINGER AND SMART RESORT 2017

Design duo Genevieve and Alexandra Smart of Ginger and Smart produced an effervescent collection brimming with practically minded pieces. Charming, sophisticated garments flourished on the runway offering freedom of movement.

Swimwear was introduced to Ginger and Smart's Resort 17 collection, the show opening with a sleek, optic white, semi transparent, undulating one piece. Details included a round neck, keyhole, underwire bust, long sleeves, form fitting panelling and an open back design. Accessories comprised of raffia pool slides, arctic white weekender with rose gold hardware and a minimalistic bum bag worn nonchalantly on the hip. A mesh characterful sunhat featured a gargantuan brim which covered the model's entire face and back falling elegantly under the glutueus maximus, the ultimate in sun protection for an exotic excursion abroad.

A cornflower blue, sheer, off the shoulder kaftan oozed with fluidity. Swimwear was paired underneath consisting of high waisted black bottom, diamond torso cut out, floral, halter neck, crossover bust in delectable watercolour shades of cobalt, lavender, mocha and pearl. Simplistic oyster grey, strappy leather pool slides concluded the breezy number.

Energised cool dominated on a terracotta, off the shoulder one piece with sensual torso cut out. The swimwear acted as a bodice when married to a floral, high waisted, panelled, diaphanous midi skirt in delicate shades of blush, rose, sky, ink and lilac adding tenderness. The wraparound style featured plenty of body baring flesh on a hot summer's day.

A bold cabana stripe, asymmetrical, cropped flounce top starred in a colour palette of electric eggplant, azure, lime splice and vanilla. A matching voluminous mullet skirt was teamed to the crop and exuded good times and balmy nights spent in paradise. The striking shades and silhouette sure to garner plenty of attention.

A royal blue, sheer, lace tunic, offered gossamer airiness. Elongated sleeves worn off the shoulder engulfed fingers. A halterneck, t-bar design was layered to an athletic, cutaway royal blue one piece adding a geometric element to the softened arabesque.

Other key garments included a liquid silk, dusty pink, halterneck, bias cut, midi slip dress modelled by Nicole Pollard. A zig zag, wraparound woven mini skirt was layered to the dress with raffia fringing cascading from the hem. Minimalism versus maximalism came in the form of a snow white, v-neck asymmetrical crop layered to a bulky, raffia infested matador cropped jacket. A spliced torso melded effortlessly into a wraparound raffia mini skirt. Billowing, languid trousers offered an elegant interplay of draping when layered to the textural mini. 

A fashion forward display evoking relaxed Australian prestige.

RODARTE SPRING 2016

Supremely skilled design duo Kate and Laura Mulleavy of Rodarte delivered an utterly feminine collection brimming with enchantment. The breathtaking display offered poetic garments tinged with a glam rock edge for the impeccably stylish woman; seventies nostalgia prevalent throughout.

Model Jessica Burley took to the runway in  a high neck, Victorian inspired dress comprising of a composition of fabrics including billowy paisley sleeves in shades of Indian red and teal, heavenly white lace decolletage insert, silk chiffon drop waist, undulating beaded bodice finalised with silk fringing. Scintillating, silver, reptilian, Art Deco, sculptural heels were paired to ebony, lace, tights.

An eggshell, velvet slip dress was punctuated by black velvet and lace trimmings. Sweetheart neckline and lace-up detail added a whimsical element. A dip dyed, Mongolian lamb fur coat starred in raven and alabaster while a double layered skinny scarf in ivory and onyx concluded the look.

Dark, gothic, opulence radiated on a coruscating, streamlined, black cocktail dress. Countless rows of silver bugle beading ignited the decadent long sleeves and bodice. A scalloped, plunging neckline combined sass and sophistication.

Danish model Line Brems modelled an effervescent blend consisting of a ruffled silk cami, high waisted suede dove grey pantalons in languid proportions, a silk chiffon scarf embellished with silver bugle beads in floral motifs and a gargantuan Mongolian fur chubby in blanc and noir. Spliced, silver metallic booties screamed sixties mod squad.  

Aussie, Madison Stubbington modelled a dusty rose, mahogany and grape wraparound dress. Lustrous, lamé, long sleeves featured rosewood, velvet, bell cuffs. A chain belt was accentuated by a floral, silver, metal centrepiece. Accessories included a double layered scarf worn knotted nonchalantly around the neck; one in an ethnic paisley print and the other embellished with sequins and beading. Under the knee, silver snakeskin, slashed boots revealed panes of black triangular detail.

Gossamer airiness  dominated on an ethereal, plunging lace dress. A collage of black and white lace ignited the romantic ensemble. Details included delicate, flared elbow sleeve and mandarin rosettes encompassing the waist. A series of gold, decadent jewellery comprised of collarbone grazing, bohemian, chandelier earrings, wraparound flower crown and a menagerie of medieval bracelets worn piled on both wrists. Chunky finger armour adorned hands.   

Serene conviction prevailed on a mystical, transparent black lace dress modelled by Hedvig Palm. Silk fringing lit up the high neckline which flowed seamlessly into a sheer crystal embellished decolletage, scalloped lace bust panel and lace drop waist.

Pulchritude, romance and unmitigated finesse all hallmark features of the standout collection.

Burberry Prorsum Spring 2016

Venerable designer Christopher Bailey of Burberry delivered London upper crust elegance for his Spring 2016 collection. Bailey's designs are invariably imbued with a sense of sophistication; think sensuous, guilty pleasures steeped in luxury. The collection opened with a transparent lace, ebony, drop waist tiered slip dress, complete with scalloped hemline. A lattice panel plunged to the navel. The spidery slip evoked gossamer airiness toyed with a suggestive game of hide and seek. A lightweight canvas trench with gold accents was layered to the dress for modesty. Mammoth chains festooned platform pool slides complete with rubber soles which added a nonchalant approach to the ensemble. 

Model Lameka Fox took to the runway in a mushroom, lace, empire line mini dress. Details included deep decolletage neckline, long sleeves, contrasting black lace panelling under the bust which flowed effortlessly into a body skimming, thigh grazing arabesque. Gold regimental buttons encrusted pool slides combining ostentation to the mix. 

Lace galore continued to dominate the runway and highlighted a sculptural guipure lace and mesh trench dress. Bailey's ingenuity prevailed yet again. Floral applique flourished throughout lending a playful edge.

A sheer peony pink, embellished, shapely mini dress comprised of insert mesh pleats, structured bodice and lattice panelling; a heavenly textural delight. Caged gold and black platform ankle booties strengthened the silhouette. Matte berry stained lips, translucent satin complexion and a neutral eye complemented the flirtatious standout. 

A contemporary skater dress featured in goffered silk. A floral print in a colour palette consisting of mulberry, milk and ink illuminated the youthful concoction. A grommet and gold chain nylon backpack was slung low on the rear and oozed of the nineties grunge factor.

Binx Walton modelled a lemon curd, crew neck, stretch lace tiered mini dress brimming with girlish charm. The saccharine number called for a high tea session for ladies who lunch. The unanticipated combination of heavy pool slides complete with badge motif continued to frequent dainty creations aplenty.

For the Burberry vixen; an aspirin dot mesh, transparent, maxi dress in the shade of oxblood. Details included spliced keyhole, concertina collar, built in ebony mesh waist cincher and provocative thigh high split. Release your inner starlet with this sophisticated, fashion forward, eveningwear number.

Gothic glam reigned on a billowy, box pleat, cape coat which was of midi length proportions. The arresting coat was twinned to a midnight, vintage style, silk mini dress. Intricate beadwork showcasing couture craftsmanship graced the dress in floral patterns consisting of shades including gold, topaz, silver and ruby. An under the bust mesh insert revealed a window pane of flesh.

A romantic collection fused effectively with techy sportswear, with a strong nod to the 1940s.

The Bob Hope Estate located at Palm Springs, California played host to Nicolas Ghesquiere's Louis Vuitton Resort 2016 collection. Ghesquiere's designs were invariably imbued with retro poise. Consummate class with the utmost precision tailoring was present throughout.

The collection opened with a series of languorous looks including a scintillating, monochromatic cropped long sleeve blouse engulfed in a chain motif. A leather harness encased the torso and featured industrial exposed zip. Matching trousers in relaxed proportions were teamed to leather platform thongs and a minimalistic tote handbag.

A collarless, oatmeal leather jacket starred in shrunken proportions. Bold criss cross leather and eyelet detail plummeted down the placket and forearm adding seventies allure. The moto jacket was married to an obsidian, free flowing jumpsuit complete with triangle cut-out torso with gargantuan origami inspired waist detail. A studded, quilted mini clutch in onyx was the accessory of choice.

Julia Hafstrom modelled a cornflower blue boxy suede jacket with ebony panelling and textural metallic silver leather collar. Statement zips hardened the silhouette. Denim hot pants cut briefly on the thigh featured darting, contrasting bleached denim pockets and centre zip fastening. The look was finalised with platform, combat ankle boots and a luxurious, muted apricot quilted handbag in the Vuitton 'Alma' shape complete with identity tag.

Colour blocking nostalgia crept in on a paprika and persimmon suede overcoat which was a bold accession against the stark blanc t-shirt and languid trousers in which the coat was paired to. Psychedelia dominated on a scuba inspired zip up wetsuit top embellished with undulating patterns in eye catching shades of gold, azure, ebony and scarlet snakeskin. A sequin collar threw ostentation in to the equation. Matching high waisted shorts resembling briefs concluded the look. Valery Kaufman nonchalantly carried the signature monogram LV backpack as she took to the runway.

A full length, candy apple red, butter soft leather dress featured punctured LV floral motifs, thigh splits and deep flounce decolletage. A built in waist tie added shape to the arabesque. A wondrous addition. Victorious printed prairie dresses featured black lace and caged panelling with a strong nod to the seventies decade prevalent. Diaphanous, poetic looks bursting with romanticism.

The show concluded with a series of garments reminiscent of Picnic at Hanging Rock mashed with Gothic glam connotations. High neck, Victorian inspired structured leather dresses complete with scalloped bell bottom sleeves came in a colour palette comprising of alabaster and ink. Puff shoulders and laser leather shapes lent broderie anglaise qualities to the mix. A transparent minaudiere was clutched by model Amalie Schmidt.

Nicolas Ghesquiere works his masterful way yet again on a collection brimming with panache.

Bec and Bridge S/S 15/16

Designers Rebecca Cooper and Bridget Yorston of Bec and Bridge produced a Spring/Summer collection steeped in seventies, bohemian luxe. Practically minded pieces bursting with effervescence dominated the runway and are sure to delight Bec and Bridge's cult following. Pertinently titled 'The Dusk March' the collection delved into a sensual journey through the seductive desert landscape of Morocco.

The collection opened with an obsidian sun ray pleat, languid sun dress with suggestive diamond cut-out torso accompanied by silver arm cuffs and necklace. Knee grazing, robust gladiator sandals in ebony concluded the look. Raw and evocative of a stylish intrepid traveller. Diamond peek-a-boo shapes continued to frequent  and starred on a free flowing skirt revealing a rose gold bronze bikini bottom which was teamed to a wraparound scarf inspired camisole.

Grecian Goddess references reigned supreme on a jewel toned sapphire, lurex asymmetrical dress. Details included elasticised waist and multi strap shoulder adornment, deconstructed glam at its best.

A succession of muted mango garments lit up the runway and featured on a geometric bandage crop, diaphanous hip hugging maxi skirt which was married to a shrunken sleeveless denim vest worn buttoned up to the neck for a play on rigid versus billowy.

Rachel Rutt modelled skinny coral denim jeans complete with biker knee patch inserts. The jeans were married to a midriff baring silk, deep decolletage blouse which wrapped seductively around the torso. Shifting sands that undulate beneath was the driving force behind the nomadic inspired attire. 

Amanda Ware modelled liquid, molten metal scalloped jogging shorts and matching structured triangle bikini top. A round neck, body skimming fishnet top was worn over the top of the bikini for a sassy beach to bar ensemble. The highly anticipated swimwear line from B+B launched at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Australia and it did not disappoint. Key styles included cut-out monokinis in metallic silver, the classic triangle bikini updated in a star spangled print complete with centre jewel charm ornament, a vivacious opalescent khaki halter one piece with double centre ring detail and a nineties scoop neck one piece in paprika, lavender, rose and faded black asymmetric stripes. David Jones have already placed their order!

The collection concluded with a series of cocktailwear including a deep plunge, bandage wrap long sleeve mini dress with ruched shoulders, injecting pulsating energy into the equation. A midnight hued, tiered maxi with subtle rose gold diamond print was an impeccably glamorous accession with waist cut-outs lending a youthful edge. Dutch model Marthe Wiggers took to the runway in a ruby, sapphire and burnished bronze strip halter maxi. The iridescent strips were scintillating and flowed freely with every stride Wiggers made.

Fashion mogul Frida Giannini of Gucci produced a victorious Spring 2015 collection. Stylish decadence teamed with poetic enchantment ruled the runway with seventies references prevalent throughout. Bourgeois tailored silhouettes reigned supreme on ladylike suiting whilst free spirited, bohemian references oozed of nonchalance. Think seventies musicians fused with iconic fashion muses.

The collection opened with a funnel neck, fitted, cropped jacket in the shade of eggshell with safari inspired breast pockets offset by gargantuan gold Medusa head buttons. A body skimming a-line skirt fell above the knee and featured a centre front split. Accessories included reptilian, multi ankle strap block heeled sandals in burnt caramel, silk printed neck tie and fudge suede shoulder bag complete with Gucci's famed forest green and red equestrian inspired striped strap.

Tanya Katysheva modelled a sumptuous suede trench dress in the delectable shade of toffee, an absolute wardrobe staple. Suede also starred on a hip hugging 7/8 pantaloons which featured gold hardware detail. A billowy printed silk blouse in vermilion, honey and ivory came complete with lace up detail. A languid arabesque for the deluxe gypsy.

Vanessa Moody modelled a nautical inspired, collarless denim dress, similar to the famed YSL Safari dress donned by Veruschka in the seventies. Overblown sleeves, side splits and statement making white ribbon plunged down the front placket and sides of the dress. A slimline tan plaited leather belt attenuated the waist. A sturdy, mid sized shoulder satchel in crocodile added a dose of ostentation to the mix.

A multi hued, Mongolian lamb fur vest in wine, paprika and dove grey packed some serious punch. This free spirited addition was paired to a crossover bust, elasticised waisted dress grazing knee caps which complemented the vest in autumnal shades. Delicate, ethereal whimsy prevailed on a sweet yet seductive scarlet, long sleeved silk dress complete with transparent floral, embroidered inserts which starred on the upper arm, shoulder and thigh. The lace up ribbon neckline continued to be a firm fixture. Terracotta, suede, midi ankle boots were sleek and toughened up the arabesque.

Nadja Bender modelled a silk chinoiserie dress which was contrasted by black elbow cuffs and neckline. Gold bullion embroidery featured across the chest area lending a modern edge to the garment.

A succession of indigo and chambray denim pieces weighed heavily throughout the collection and included a utilitarian key hole dress, a button down long sleeve dress, sailor inspired jeans, peasant shirt dress and a cutaway 3/4 jumpsuit finalised with large keyhole, multiple rows of yellow stitching and suede under the knee boots.

A Balmain-esque khaki, military jacket in cropped boxy proportions was married to a printed kaftan blouse, androgynous, cuffed boyfriend jeans, round tortoiseshell lunettes and natural snakeskin almond toe midi boots. A look Binx Walton sported with the perfect combination of panache and insouciance.

The finale consisted of exquisitely embellished cocktail dresses with demure hemlines. Whimsical chinoiserie florals graced a moss green/ apricot plunge dress, sherbet/ burgundy/ fire engine red tapered wrist spliced key hole dress, mandarin/ mushroom transparent dress and lastly a bottle green/ navy halter dress featuring beaded collar and waist sash.
