Fashion extraordinaire, Peter Dundas of Emilio Pucci produced a breathtaking collection, bursting with pulchritude and rich in bohemian luxe. Dundas channelled the seventies with ostentatious displays teamed to peasant folklore.

Natasha Poly opened the collection in a plunge, floral embroidered mini dress with white scalloped lace framing a bare decolletage, wrists and thighs. The blossoms featured intricate beadwork . Terracotta fudge suede under the knee boots were adorned with ankle eyelet detail. The embroidered embellishment continued to frequent the runway and also starred on a macrame, racer front cutaway column maxi. A bandeau was worn underneath and revealed a toned side torso. A striking macrame poncho with excessive suede fringing was the ultimate beach cover-up for the luxury loving globetrotter.

Saccharine shades featured on a delicate, rouleau strap chemise  twinned to matching narrow flared trousers. A scarf choker in sumptuous shades of mandarin, mustard, peony pink, azure and lavender was the perfect accompaniment. 

A triangle cut out feminine maxi complete with beaded spaghetti straps and bust detail was suspended by silver, circular disc detail. Diaphanous silk fabric in Pucci's signature archival print came complete in muted shades of sherbet, mustard, magenta and ice blue. 

Punchy mandarin, forest green and white graced a cropped kaftan with bell sleeve detail. The boxy blouse lent a lackadaisical approach to the ensemble which was married to hip hugging embroidered shorts with tassel adornment. Toffee, cut out gladiator heels added polished panache. Seventies jumpsuits were updated and were highlighted in elongated, sleek proportions. Think narrow flares with pocket flaps acting as a subtle peplum creating shape throughout the silhouette. A dungaree dress in the bold shade of turquoise lit up the runway.

A riot of colour was starred on an electric tomato, burnt paprika and amethyst billowy high-low hem dress. Details included bejewelled bib necklace and baby doll arabesque. Sheer decadence and impeccable glamour accented the ensemble. 

The collection closed with a succession of generously cut maxi dresses in a kaleidoscope of colour. Tie-dye fabrics rich in liquidity garnered plenty of attention in voluminous proportions championing luxe bohemian goddesses.

Emilio Pucci's Fall 2014 Collection was replete with consummate class and alluring silhouettes. Nordic, Viking inspired, gargantuan fur coats rocked the runway with panache and flamboyant grandeur. Lavishly embellished cocktail wear featured a treasure trove of adept craftsmanship and the signature Pucci scarf print featured in more subdued shades than previous collections.

Sabrina Ioffreda opened the collection in a salmon, sherbet, black and white scarf print, turtleneck, mini dress complete with diamond and zig zag studded gridding. Calf hair, mottled cow print, under the knee boots made for a busy combination.

A deluxe mink fur coat brimming with ostentation came in the shade of snow leopard with mandarin Ikat inspired trimmings. A sable shade adorned the collar. This was paired to dark chocolate leather boots complete with ankle harness in gold hardware, finished off with an almond shaped toe. A fox stole in honey, fawn and apricot was teamed to a mocha leather plunge tunic with scalloped hem and matching leather coat falling below the hip area.

Velvet, cinnamon, jodphurs with suede inserts were of relaxed proportions, cropped at the ankle. The jodphurs were teamed to a boatneck Pucci print blouse and fox fur overcoat in natural. Gladiator stiletto heels featured leather braided centrepiece and side lace-up detail. Seriously tantalizing footwear. A rustic, serape with ivory fringing screamed Mid West. Shades of ladybug red, ebony and ivory graced the blanket wrap whilst man style, cocoa, waxed leather trousers completed the look.

A mosaic tile, exotic plunge, mini dress with rounded shoulder was a decadent inclusion. Intricate beadwork in shades of coral, and khaki exuded opulence. Less high voltage looks perfect to incorporate into the everyday wardrobe included a suede, military green, relaxed shift dress with key hole detail, gathered neckline and chain detail. This was paired to an aviator, wool, cropped jacket with oversized fur collar in flecked alabaster.

A honey mustard, asymmetrical, Grecian goddess number was a fluid addition comprising of billowy skirt, cleverly draped top swathing Lexi Boling's torso, quite Versace-esque. Saturated hues including bottle green velvet suiting featured on a streamlined blazer, flared trouser which was married to a canary yellow, silk, pussy bow, blouse.

A boatneck, mini dress in patchwork sequin,lace and suede was held together by leather sutures in a body con  arabesque. Ideal for a night time affair. A high-low hem was evident on a scarf print chiffon, floor sweeping dress in flesh and hazel undulating swirls. A ruffled keyhole and gold metallic thread added charm and an iridescent finish.

A series of luminous, molten metal, embellished looks closed the collection. These included a burnished bronze, statement making evening dress worn plunging to the navel, with wraparound skirt and centre split. A cutaway shoulder, halter column dress in antique gold was a labour intensive garment. One can only imagine the painstaking hours needed to complete such magnificent craftsmanship. Definitely an Oscar worthy number sure to light up our screens anytime soon.

Stalwart, Peter Dundas of Emilio Pucci presented a triumphant display this Pre Fall 2014 season. Majestically stylish garments for the proverbial globetrotter were present throughout the collection.

Look 1 comprised of a sloping shoulder cocoon jacket with poncho like qualities. The jacket featured Ikat embroidery in shades of magenta, crimson, white and black. The jacket was paired to white, flat front jodhpurs with illusionistic side black panelling creating a sleek silhouette. The pants were tucked into intricately laced midi boots with triple buckle detail.

A plunge kaftan oozing with liberating connotations came complete with diaphanous 3/4 sleeves with ornate, embellished hem and cuffs.

Robin Hood inspired ebony, suede, lace up, over the knee, second skin boots with eyelet detail concluded the look.

A flamboyant, fairy floss pink, faux fur, oversized, double breasted coat fell mid calf and was accompanied by muted fuchsia suede boots. A look not for the faint hearted. An effervescent, boatneck maxi column dress complete with cascading pink and purple motif was a winning combination of pulchritude and polished bohemia. A graphic, architecturally inspired, aubergine, black and white body skimming dress was attenuated by a robe style belt. Colour blocking was prevalent on a cobalt and snow white envelope clutch.

A pristine white cape coat with funnel neckline revealing black fur trimming was a chic and simplistic garment with just the right dose of minimalism thrown into the mix. A suede and waxed leather, textural, large size satchel was clutched casually.

A Florentine Pucci signature scarf print turtleneck dress in beetroot featured diamond print design and was married to desert sand suede boots. Stretch ponti suiting in the eye catching shade of azure featured on stretch ponti leggings and safari inspired hip length jacket. Leather dungarees were worn effortlessly with braces slumped casually by the side of thighs. The dungarees were twinned to yellow and cobalt, embellished,studded boatneck knit with subtle fluted sleeve.

A sizzling, sirenesque, teal body con, floor sweeping jersey gown complete with libidinous hip high split was held strategically together with gold button and elastic toggle detail. The split revealed matching teal suede thigh high boot. A burnished bronze, scintillating sequin tux with black lapels was a lavish addition. Flat front cigarette leg trousers screamed Studio 54. An Ikat print, duchesse satin, textural plunge evening gown with tulle trimmings, peplum and cummerbund starred in the shades of cobalt and black. This was the closing look of the show. A standout, timeless classic with an avant garde edge.

The spell binding concoction of Peter Dundas's famed Pucci formula continued to induce allure and magnetism this S/S 2014 with a stellar line up accommodating the broad clientele of the Pucci devotee. From pop princesses to socialites aplenty the designer tapped into athleticism paired with the staple Florentine scarf print, synonymous with the label.

Joan Smalls opened the collection in a leather, elbow length, perforated cropped tee featuring regal embellished motif comprising of a bejewelled crown housing rubies, sapphires and emeralds aplenty. A tapestry inspired, a-line mini skirt featured the year 1947 emblazoned, the year the Pucci house was founded, surrounded by jolts of bright colours channelling Jamaican references.

Clashing, haphazardous scarf prints dominated a pair of dhoti pants in a kaleidoscope of turquoise and cobalt in sensual satin. A mesh tank was paired with a black sports bra. A cropped, collarless jacket with zebra embroidery was married to a colossal sized boxing belt with the buckle starring an animal head complete with wings.

Andreea Diaconu modelled a beaded, boatneck mini dress with Pucci splashed across the decolletage in striking silver.Hints of Roman gladiator were evident on footwear lending a robust aesthetic to the silhouette.

A cleverly draped skirt appeared weightless, fabric swathed Josephine Le Tutour's hips as she sauntered down the runway with ease. A sweet heart neckline bustier with mosaic like embroidery in a riot of colour completed the look.

Black sequin sarouel pants were a glamorous night time accession. The look was modernised when married to a scuba, sleeveless, funnel neck, toggle, drawstring vest, complete with heavy duty zipper. The vest was anorak inspired and worn layered with a mesh tank.

A cropped parka with oriental kimono references was teamed with a scoop neck, fishnet tank and leather perforated running shorts. Peep toe suede and mesh panelled stiletto booties featured double, velcro ankle straps for a sporty spin.

An Ikat, graphic print poncho was fringed and of boatneck style. An elasticised waist, jogging short with undulating pattern also made an appearance on a sweetheart neckline, bustier, body con dress.

A billowy, diaphanous, parachute silk parka in the classic Pucci scarf print was twinned with a youth driven racer front tank. Liquid metal emulating aluminium foil graced a sci-fi, futuristic, 3/4 length trench modelled by Danish model, Josephine Skriver. The trench was paired with a halter, black scuba one piece, swimsuit, oozing with superhero qualities. The look was accessorised with a leather bumbag worn slung low on the side hips.

A tangerine, funnel neck anorak evoked utilitarian references. The jacket was paired with a 3/4 jodhpur pant in shades of tomato and ink combined with jolts of pewter.

Iridescent, ombre sequins shifted from emerald to burnt paprika, red, mint and cobalt graced a long sleeve mini dress modelled by Sasha Luss. An ethereal mermaid best conjured up the imagery.

A series of high neck, cutaway column dresses featuring oversized white, lurex, crochet were teamed with strapless, shrunken mini dresses adding an unobtrusive feel to the garment.

Deftly designer Peter Dundas of Emilio Pucci unveiled an intriguing Fall 2013 Collection. A discordant mixture of textural fabrics and punchy contours draped lithe bodies erratically.

Sasha Luss opened the show in an intricately embellished, gunmetal grey, navy and sapphire decadent long sleeve blouse, tucked into signature Pucci scarf print, high waisted skirt, high low hem flounce detail in shades of muted lavender, black and white. The look was drawn together with a tiger, ponyskin waist cincher belt and palatial thigh high, second skin, suede boots in rich toffee.

Kasia Struss modelled high waisted ebony tap shorts, paired with beaded fringed collarless jacket in lunar accents. The look was completed with a gauzy, transparent, polka dot blouse featuring plunge, key hole, navel slit alluding suggestiveness.

Dense, woollen cape coats in monochromatic black and white featured Italian renaissance prints complete with generously sized stud trimmings.

Bouffant, dolman sleeved, silk scarf print dresses came in the form of micro proportions. Shades included cotton candy paired with dove grey and azure teamed with black and white, romantic, poeticism reigned supreme.

An injection of colour was evident on a peacock blue, boiled wool pea coat with military magnetism. Black suede over the knee boots featuring beaded adornment offered plenty of opulence.

An abundance of undulating swirls featuring transparent panelling were found on a saccharine, ice blue, body skimming mini dress.

Signature Pucci ostentation and glamour was seen on a burnished gold, sweetheart neckline, long sleeved cocktail dress starring polka dot decolletage insert. Boudoir inspiration played an eminent role in the collection. La Perlaesque lingerie slip dresses in spiderweb lace were married with exotic zebra print robes highlighted by oversized fur cuffs and collars.

Accessories comprised of zebra ponyskin hobos in camel and black, small neat boxy handbags and a fringed beaded drawstring bucket bag, an eveningwear covet worthy item. Suede thigh high boots in shades of claret, black and toffee dominated the runway, pointy toed patent stiletto slingbacks were a more demure option.

Hair maestro Luigi Murenu created soft faux fringes which swept models foreheads. Matte complexions, flesh apricot hued glossy lips, kohl rimmed eyes, lashings of mascara and false eyelashes lent a distinct 60s/70s beauty aesthetic.

Designer Peter Dundas of Milanese fashion house, Emilio Pucci showcased a defiant, empowering collection replete of mesmeric exhibitionism.
A profusion of transparent, wasp like layering left little to the imagination. Runway looks were showcased in colour blocked virginal white with sylph like airiness. Oriental embroidery featured heavily on garments, this heightened the origami silhouette effect. Cheongsam necklines played a reoccurring role throughout the collection. Sheer panelling was evident on halter, apron, column dresses which offered a tantalizing mix of provocation crossed with demurity.
Stylish ensembles included simplistic layered chiffon tanks and tunics with strategically placed embroidery.For the more modest woman, nude slips were worn as under garments.
A dainty, whimsical, sheer trench was belted and oozed of insouciance. The transparency of the trench highlighted the craftsmanship of this delicate garment replete with intricate bead work.
Minis were teamed with sheer maxi proportions. A cobalt, sumptuous silk, bomber jacket with cut out shoulder detail and overblown sleeves featured dragon motifs, paired with a hip hugging pencil skirt with covered button detail.
Relaxed kimono style wraps showcased utilitarian chic at its very best. 
A vivacious, oriental inspired, asymmetrical dress complete with obi and quilted hem detail showcased punchy contours.
The famous Pucci scarf print made several appearances on culottes, pyjama pants and kimonos in delicious shades of pistachio, chocolate and khaki. Other prints featured scarlet and deep vermilion.
Femininity and languid free forms featured on bandeau, knotted, halter maxis. Enigmatic black held its own on the runway and was found on a boatneck, slinky floor length number with regal gold dragon design and a high neck tunic dress with voluminous sleeves.
A captivating racer front, fire engine red, halter column dress with sexy side splits was the closing number of the show modelled by Joan Smalls.
Amplified footwear included platform, knotted espadrilles and strappy croc platforms in shades of gold, black and khaki. Super sized visor sunglasses in shades of pewter were the eye wear of choice. Jewellery was kept to a bare minimum. Sleek white cuffs with gold hardware graced models wrists. Tres chic, glossy, convex, white minaudieres and envelope clutches offered the timeless glamour associated with the effervescent Pucci woman.
